Questions people ask us

The things people ask before they book, answered straight.

Do the courts get wet when it rains?

Four courts are covered by the railway above, which keeps most of the rain off, but water can still drip through in places and the surface can get slippery. We're working on it, and if you're unsure on the day, ask the bar before you go on.

Can I rent a racket and balls?

Yes, rackets and balls are available to hire at the bar, no need to bring your own gear the first time.

Is there somewhere to sit after a game?

Yes, the terrace looks straight over the courts, good for a drink and something to eat once you're done playing.

Which courts are outdoor and which are covered?

Courts 1 to 4 sit under the railway arch, court 5 is fully outdoor and open to the sky.

Do I need to book in advance?

Drop-ins are welcome, but classes fill up, booking ahead guarantees your spot.

What should I bring?

Just comfortable clothes and water. Mats and equipment are provided.

Is there parking?

There's paid garage parking near the club. Lighting in the area can be dim after dark, so allow a couple of extra minutes finding your way in.

Is there a toilet?

Yes, there's a toilet on site.
